The property is so pretty- the gardens are beautiful and it’s a quick walk to the beach. Although TianDe isn’t directly on the beach, Mariola (the owner) has a friendly relationship with a neighboring hotel that is first row, so guests can spend time there during the day. The bar and restaurant area are lovely and the food is yummy and fresh- we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is sparkling, and the staff is warm and hard-working. Our room was clean and comfortable, with A/C, tea/coffee, good shower, nice decor. Mariola and her boyfriend live on site- they are doing a fantastic job running TianDe with a lot of hard work and love. We wish them success and will recommend to TianDe to anyone traveling to Zanzibar.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, reminiscent of those in 4 to 5-star hotels. The rooms were equipped with both fans and air conditioning, and they were always clean and tidy. The beautifully landscaped courtyard added to the overall charm. The breakfast spread was unbelievably delicious, and the chef truly impressed us with the delightful dishes we tried. A special highlight was the friendly little monkey in the courtyard. We enjoyed spending time with it, feeding it, and it was heartwarming to see it happily playing with us every day. We want to thank the Mr. who runs this hotel, he helped us with even the smallest details during our stay. We highly recommend this accommodation, and we will come back again for sure. Mitar & Viki

The owners are on the premises every day and will interact with you to help you plan your excursions, advise which ones to avoid and find trusted local guides they worked with before so you don't have surprises during any of your excursions. The owners can also recommend food or arrange for something that's not on the menu - I was very satisfied with those alternatives, super tasty.

We stayed there 2 nights, only 1 would be more than enough. There's a really nice beach and some good restaurants. Since we saw other parts of zanzibar and did all the activities, kiwengwe didn't had much to offer beside the beach and friendly dogs 😊 If you want just to stay on the beach than this is your place.

Od TL 6.120 na nočZ možem sva potovanje na Zanzibarju zaključila v hotelu Baladin in si res ne bi mogla želeti boljšega zaključka. Vsi zaposleni, hrana, urejenost sob in celega hotela je res TOP! Res sva lahko odklopila ves stres in skrbi, ko sva bila tukaj, saj sva res uživala od prvega do zadnjega dneva. Definitvno bo ta hotel najina prva izbira naslednjič, ko bova spet na Zanzibarju. ☺️☺️

We really had a great stay at Mapenzi Beach Resort. Staff was always very kind, very authentic and open-hearted. Menu was very rich in variety and very delicious. Live barbecue every day, delicious pasta, salads and local food. We had a beach villa first row at the beach, which was beautiful. We made several trips, snorkeling, dolphins, reef tour and safari - which can easily be booked at the hotel (way more expensive) or at the very kind local sales people at the beach, which will arrange whatever you wish. By far our favorite hotel. We booked the garden view pool villa for 1 day and visited during our honeymoon. They organized a surprise for us with candles and flowers which made us so happy. All stuff were genuine and helpful. Breakfast and dinner was unreal and during dinner we had live music playing cocktails were very good as well. The main pool was very unique and the pool in our room was bigger than what I imagined. The rooms were very luxurious and beautiful. Also, when my husband had a sunburn, they brought us the hotel's doctor to check on him which we appreciated a lot. We had a great stay and thank you very much for this!

My room was lovely, comfortable sitting area on a my balcony with a beautiful view. Beach is perfect. all staff were pleasant and friendly.

We loved the hotel they have quite big space having greenery every where. Staff epecially Ajay room manager was helpful. Balram cooked delicious food. Everything was perfect.

Super lokacija, zelo ustrežljivo osebje, zamenjali smo 2 klasicni sobi za 1 sobo s pogledom na bazen in dobili se zajtrk v ceni. Samopostrežni bogat zajtrk in zelo okusen. Top zakljucek dopusta.

million thanks to Petra, the most dedicated and helpful I’ve ever met ! Tulia is a perfect place to stay in their, I loved their pool and the water slides is brilliant! my kids was suggesting to stay in the hotel for good and was always asking to leave it !

Every detail in the room was really artistic. The design of the garden and the trees was just exceptional. Speechless about how friendly are the staff (esp shumari) Never seen anything like it before🙏

Hotel is beautiful for couple of nights. Not much to do. Balcony is nice and view. Needs more maintenance.
