We loved it here! All the staff are so friendly and helpful. There were daily activities to participate in and the facilities were awesome. We will definitely come back here again :)

It’s so wonderful to have met such a beautiful soul in the heart of Phuket Island. Upon check-in, we already knew that we would be in excellent hands. Oy did a sensational job in arranging all of our accommodations including our hotel stay, hotel to airport transportation and especially our elephant experience. Her level of professionalism far exceeds typical customer care. She treated each and every one of us like her family. She literally made it her mission to guarantee us having the most amazing time in Thailand. I have traveled to many places, and I haven’t yet met a concierge staff that can match Oy’s standards. She really is the personification of customer service. Her level of care is second to none as she single-handedly made sure my family had the best Thai experience. It’s safe to say, we've made a new friend in each other. Again, thank you so much for everything and daghang salamat, Khun Oy!!
PS. She’s also a Miss Universe fan.

The swimming pool at the resort was amazing. The biggest I've ever been in and not crowded at all.
The beach had quite dumpy waves that were unsafe for swimming with the 4&6 years old kids we had. The pool was much safer

Mai Khao is a slice of heaven with the most beautiful beaches and clear waters. It is a very quiet area but just what our family needed after the hustle and bustle of the Patong Beach area. We stayed at the JW Marriott for 3 nights.

The only part of the beach that was crowded was the beach near the airport. Otherwise, it was a nice and quiet beach. You can walk a long way on it. It doesn't have white, soft sand but the water was clear and there were no jelly fish.

I have previously stayed at this hotel back in 2019.
I have previously stayed at this hotel back in 2019. Although some parts of the exterior are looking a little bit like a lick of paint and a clean up would help, overall I am very impressed with the stay here. Great room, great staff and fantastic pools to enjoy…
The local beach suffers a bit from washed up plastic and wooden waste, but it’s a great place to enjoy nonetheless.

Massive rooms with nice semi private pool and easy access to main pool. Rooms were well appointed wit large beds, great showers and a bathtub with a view (you’ll need to have the blinds closed before getting in though). They even offered bicycles for getting around the resort and local area.

Perfect location for 1-2 nights to be near Phuket airport.
Perfect location for 1-2 nights to be near Phuket airport. Staff very friendly.
Easy access to local restaurants.
Rooms well furnished and very clean.
Just not ‘pretty’ from outside as large brown block of rooms.
Any review of this hotel needs to start with Gail - she is amazing. So sweet, helpful, and hospitable...anyone would feel welcome and comfortable after meeting her. She was very kind to us and really went out of her way to help us make arrangements for when we were leaving.
The rooms were immaculate - perfectly clean, and very comfortable.
The wifi worked well.
You're just a 5 minute walk from a quiet and clean beach.
The couple that runs Mai Khao beach guest house are absolutely lovely. So friendly and eager to help. They let us use the bikes whenever we wanted and also offered us beach mats and beach umbrellas to borrow.
They were also very helpful and let us use their microwave when we needed it one night.
They offered us eggs, toast and tomatoes for breakfast every morning which was delicious.
This resort is off the beaten track, I wanted peace and quiet, and that is exactly what I got for 5 days. If you want a slither of nightlife or dining options, go elsewhere, I was quite content staying at the resort, booking into the spa and walks along the beach. The villas are huge and very private, by far the best value for money.
Food was well priced, Spa was well priced.
The location was great, right on Mai Khao beach. We had 'Villa 1' which had an amazing, uninterrupted view of the sea. The area and beach were quiet and never got too busy.
The hot water in the shower was a nice surprise.
The aircon was effective (but unfortunately noisy at night).
- Property's location is very peachful and great for relaxation.
- All staff are very nice, full of service mind and very detailed in taking care of guest
- Breakfast is always the best one in Phuket
- Dinner at Takieng Restaurant is very good (both food and staff)
The hotel was OKaay I give it six out of 10.
I had a problem with the air conditioner
 it's a bit old hotel
The restaurants and the reception is far away from you. You need a tok tok or a long walk
The property is located at the quiet end of Phuket, not many restaurants or bars nearby, but if you are looking for a relaxing and chill out place, this is the place for you
The private pool villa is a very beautiful room. The hotel is near a very beautiful and quiet beach. Hotel feels new and modern. We also loved the Spa. The pool was nice.
Breakfast was excellent. I have coeliac, lots of gluten free options.
All public areas clean and well maintained.
Family hotel, good kids club and kids pools.
